Amid the bombshell allegations, the former 'America's Got Talent' host admits he's torn between P. Diddy and Cassie because he's acquainted with both of them.

AceShowbiz - During a conversation with Iyanla Vanzant for his new series, "Counsel Culture", Nick Cannon addressed the sexual assault allegations against P. Diddy, who he refers to as a "brother."
Cannon expressed difficulty in discussing the situation, as he knows both Diddy and Diddy's former girlfriend Cassie Ventura. He acknowledged Ventura as a victim and said he was praying for her well-being.
However, when asked about Diddy, Cannon faced a dilemma. "I'm praying for Cassie, trying to find the high frequency and knowing the story, knowing the right thing to talk about, I was like, this is someone who was hurt, who was victimized," he said. But then when this question goes a little bit further, 'So what about Puff?' It's like, 'I don't know how to feel about that.' "
He explained that Diddy had been there for him during his own struggles, and he felt an obligation to defend him. "When I was going through my stuff, someone that called, checked on me, stood by me, stood up for me, and I was like, 'What do I owe you?' " Cannon said.
Cannon also discussed the possibility that Diddy's alleged actions could overshadow the support he has provided to others. He stated that he had been offered a job by Diddy after being fired from "The Masked Singer" for "hateful speech and antisemitism."
Orlando Brown, another rapper, also expressed support for Diddy amid the allegations. Brown said he loves Diddy and does not want to make things harder for him.
The allegations against Diddy stem from a lawsuit filed by Ventura, who claimed she was raped and physically abused during their relationship. Several other women and men have since come forward with their own allegations. Diddy's attorney has vehemently denied the accusations and accused Ventura of blackmail.
The investigation into Diddy is ongoing, and it is unclear if any of the cases are related to the trafficking probe that led to raids on his properties.
