The 'Chasing Time' rapper receives supportive messages from social media users after candidly voicing her thoughts on the 'Break My Soul' hitmaker's newly-released record.

AceShowbiz - Azealia Banks has shared her honest opinions on Beyonce Knowles' country album "Cowboy Carter". The "Chasing Time" rapper received supportive messages from a number of social media users after candidly voicing her views on the newly-released record.

On Friday, March 29, the 32-year-old hip-hop artist made use of Instagram Stories to share her two cents on the 42-year-old superstar's latest record. Over a black screen, she wrote, "Themes r redundant. The lyrics are really forced. Album is too long."

Azealia went on to say, "Plus who is this imaginary adversary sis thinks still wants to hump on j in 2024? She's gotta find new content. Nobody, and I mean NOBODY thinks he's even remotely attractive …. LOL."

The spitter further stated, "Def should have had Taylor Swift & Kacey Musgraves on there, it's what the ppl wanted." She also noted, "I personally would have jumped out of my seat for a KT Tunstall appearance," before writing, "A strong Dr. Luke power ballad was missing, like 'Low.' "

Despite the criticisms, Azealia did not forget to mention several aspects that she liked from the album. She gushed, "Great work from the band/producers/engineers. Cool and interesting choices on the sonics. Might be her most sonically cool attempt at being arty." She added, "But the production/engineering was more impressive than any of her performances on any of the records."

Later that day, Azealia's Story was reposted by a blog on the same social media platform. It was quickly flooded with positive online responses from Instagram users. In the comments section, one in particular wrote, "I am a Beyonce fan but unfortunately not one lie was told here," adding a shrinking emoji.

Similarly, another assumed, "Banks didn't lie but y'all won't admit." A third stated, "Kacey Musgraves and Taylor Swift would have been great on the album. I agree with her on that!!" In contrast, a fourth pointed out, "This girl is Bey biggest fan and hater all at once, it's insane at this point. Someone call an available nurse."

The comments came less than 24 hours after Beyonce dropped "Cowboy Carter". The album consists of 27 songs, including one featuring her second child Rumi Carter. It also features collaborative singles with fellow artists, including Miley Cyrus and Post Malone.
