The 53-year-old 'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' alum claims that a man randomly came up to her and punched her in the face when she was on Manhattan street.

AceShowbiz - Bethenny Frankel knows how insane the recent punching trend in New York City is as she learns it the hard way. The former star of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" claimed that a man randomly came up to her and punched her in the face when she was in the city.

The former Bravo personality made the revelation while commenting on a TikTok video of fashion design student Mikayla Toninato sharing her experience being assaulted. In a comment, the reality TV star said that she had the same experience when she was on a Manhattan street.

"This is insane bc this happened to me a few months ago but I was embarrassed to say," the 53-year-old star wrote Tuesday, March 26. "I was on the UWS [Upper West Side]. Insane. I was taking video of a bakery."

The Skinnygirl founder did not offer details about her injuries, if she had any. In fact, she removed the comment shortly after.

More than 25 women shared their accounts of falling victim to the random assault. Among the victims was influencer Halley Kate, who showed a huge bump on her forehead in a TikTok video on Monday.

"You guys, I was literally just walking, and a man came up and punched me in the face," she said through tears, "Oh my God, it's so bad. I can't even talk." Halley also gave a closer look at her injury, calling it "devil horn."

According to NYPD, Kate reported an assault at West 16th Street and 7th Avenue at 10:20 A.M. Monday. It was said that the 23-year-old was treated at a medical facility for injuries to the left side of her face.

The police claimed that they're unsure if the viral incidents, which was called the "knockout game," were connected.
