Gina Bellman revealed her own cancer diagnosis after commenting on Kate Middleton's.

Kate's diagnosis has come as a shock to both the royal family and the public. The royal shared her story in a video message, revealing that she had been undergoing a course of preventative chemotherapy after being diagnosed with cancer following an abdominal surgery in January.

"This of course came as a huge shock," she stated. "It has taken us time to explain everything to George, Charlotte and Louie in a way that's appropriate for them and to reassure them that I'm going to be okay. I said to Them, I am well, and getting stronger every day by focusing on the things that will help me heal."

She also highlighted the unwavering support of her husband, Prince William, and the love and kindness shown by the public. She said, "Having William by my side is a great source of comfort."

The type of cancer Kate was diagnosed with remains unclear. A Kensington Palace source said they "will not be sharing any further private medical information," adding that "the Princess has a right to medical privacy, as we all do."
