AceShowbiz - Shiloh Jolie-Pitt is reportedly eager to make a big change ahead of her 18th birthday, much to her mother Angelina Jolie's dismay. The teen has allegedly left her mom upset as she decided to move in with her dad Brad Pitt.

A source tells In Touch in a story published on Friday, March 22 that the Academy Award-winning actress "wasn't happy" about her daughter's choice. However, being a wise mom, "[Angelina] knows Shiloh is a woman now and can make her own decisions," the so-called insider shares.

As to why Shiloh wants to move into her dad's place, the source says it has nothing to do with the living situation at Angelina's home. "Shiloh isn't unhappy at Angelina's, but she's turning 18 soon and wants to shake things up," the informant spills, adding Brad "was ecstatic when Shiloh told him the news."

The good news is, Brad's $8.3 million Loz Feliz estate is within walking distance of Angelina's home, so "Shiloh can walk over at any time to see Angie and her brothers and sisters," per the news outlet. The teen's decision to swap households doesn't come as a surprise since she always has an "unbreakable bond" with her father.

Brad "is particularly close to Shiloh" as they share "the same passions," a source told the publication back in July 2022. "The pair have a loving, fun and authentic relationship and are cut from the same cloth."

Shiloh has been showing her interests in dancing and joining dance class. "Brad never puts pressure on Shiloh and encourages her to pursue her dreams. She feels comfortable talking to her dad about anything," the source added, noting that the duo enjoys "playing music together, watching movies and art, and spend a lot of their time together in his art studio being creative."

Shiloh's decision to move in with her father comes after Angelina scored a victory in Brad's winery lawsuit against her. "The judge dismissed most of Mr. Pitt's claims because they don't have a legal basis," her attorney Paul Murphy said in a statement regarding the judge's latest ruling on Wednesday, March 20.

"Mr. Pitt's lawsuit has never been about a business dispute; instead, it is about his attempts to cover up serious abuse, and we are gratified the judge has thrown out so much of Mr. Pitt's complaint," the attorney claimed, before adding, "Angelina truly harbors no ill-will toward Mr. Pitt, and hopes he will now release her from his frivolous lawsuit, stop his relentless attacks, and join her in helping their family heal in private."
