The 'Dusk Till Dawn' singer remembers rescuing his former bandmate from pyrotechnic flames that could cause a potentially severe injury during one of their group's gigs.

AceShowbiz - On the latest episode of Sean Evans' "Hot Ones", Zayn Malik shared a thrilling incident involving a pyrotechnical mishap that almost harmed his former One Direction bandmate, Harry Styles.

During a concert in 2013, Malik saved Styles from walking into special-effects flames. "Harry was right next to a pyro, and it was about to go off," Malik recounted. "He had a towel over his head and didn't see it."

Malik darted over and pushed Styles out of harm's way just as the flames exploded in front of his face. Malik joked about the superhero moment, saying, "It's amazing, 'cause it makes me look great."

In addition to reminiscing about the incident, Malik also revealed the release of his fourth solo album, "Room Under the Stairs", on May 17. He described the album as having "a very different sound" compared to his previous releases, with a "really raw and honest" feel.

Malik revealed that he recorded most of the album in a tiny shoe cabinet in his house. "I felt like it was fitting to name it after that room so people can get even more sentiment into what the whole idea behind it was," he said.
