Andy Cohen Responds to Brandi Glanville's Sexual Harassment Accusation: 'Meant in Jest'

The former star of 'The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' claims that in 2022, the Bravo honcho sent her a video where he invited her to watch him engage in an intimate act via FaceTime.

AceShowbiz - Andy Cohen has reacted after Brandi Glanville accused him of sexual harassment. Making use of his X account, the Bravo executive producer issued an apology after the reality TV star claimed that Andy made an inappropriate remark to her.

"The video shows Kate Chastain and I very clearly joking to Brandi," Andy wrote on the app, previously known as Twitter. His tweet confirmed that the other reality star whom Brandi referred to was the "Below Deck" alum, who is also Brandi's good pal.

The "Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen" host continued, "It was absolutely meant in jest, and Brandi's response clearly communicated she was in on the joke." Despite that, he admitted that his remark was "totally inappropriate," adding, "And I apologize."

Andy's tweet came after Brandi claimed in a legal letter via her attorneys that he sexually harassed her. The former star of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" said that the Bravo honcho sent her a video in 2022, in which he appeared "obviously inebriated."

In the clip, Andy allegedly "boasted" that he wanted to "sleep with another Bravo star" while "thinking" of Brandi. Not stopping there, Brandi claimed in the letter that Andi additionally invited the former Housewife to watch him engage in the sexual act via FaceTime.

"Mr. Cohen was Ms. Glanville's boss at the time and exercised complete and total control over her career," the letter further stated. "This was an extraordinary abuse of power that left Ms. Glanville feeling trapped and disgusted. It is inconceivable that Mr. Cohen remains in his post in spite of this behavior and harkens back to the bad old days of Matt Lauer and NBC News when profits were prioritized over people."

Brandi's letter came after Caroline Manzo sued Andy and Bravo, alleging that she was sexually harassed and assaulted by Brandi during the filming of "The Real Housewives of Ultimate Girls Trip" in Morocco back in January 2023. She claimed that during taping, Brandi kissed her and groped her vagina and breasts.

Caroline criticized Bravo and other NBCUniversal entities for still hiring Brandi despite her history of sexually harassing conduct because of ratings. She additionally accused production companies involved with the network of not protecting her during an alleged sexual assault incident with Brandi.
