The 'Praise the Lord (Da Shine)' rapper garners mixed responses from social media users after claiming that the 'Love on the Brain' singer is working on a new album.

AceShowbiz - Rihanna's fans seemingly can't wait any longer for her to release her new music. The "Love on the Brain" singer, who has not unleashed an album for nearly one decade, is currently "working on" a fresh record, according to A$AP Rocky.

The 35-year-old hip-hop artist shared an update on the 35-year-old songstress' progress in creating new music. In a video circulating via X, formerly known as Twitter, on Saturday, February 17, it could be seen that he was interacting with a number of fans, including one who was documented taking a selfie with him.

At one point, one of the fans said, "Tell Rihanna to drop the album becauseā€¦" Before the fan even finished their sentence, Rocky excitedly spilled, "She's working on it," while turning his face to the fan, pointing one of his fingers and flashing his big smile.

In response, the fans who surrounded the "Praise the Lord (Da Shine)" rapper could not help but voice their excitement, with some of them cheering and screaming. Rocky, who was still smiling, was filmed laughing as he was leaving the crowd.

Later on, one fan exclaimed, "Thank you, A$AP." He was then seen turning around one more time and waving one of his hands before he continued walking away, along with who appeared to be his bodyguards following him behind.

The rare footage was reshared on Instagram, prompting Instagram users to give their response on Rocky's remark. In the comments section, one in particular told the spitter, "Shut up don't lie. she been saying that since 2017," adding a red angry face emoji. Similarly, another warned, "DONT LIE TO US ROCKY."

Meanwhile, a third penned, "Drop her off at the studio today and watch the kids for her," making a reference to Rocky and Rihanna's two children together. A fourth, in the meantime, wrote, "At this point she can keep it like girl u know your fans want a album then to say u gone release one then don't its like girl bye."

Rihanna dropped her latest album titled "Anti" back on January 28, 2016. The record consists of more than ten singles, including "Love on the Brain", "Same Ol' Mistakes" and "Desperado". In the same album, she collaborated with Drake for "Work" and SZA for "Consideration".
