AceShowbiz - Beyonce Knowles will "shock the world" with her upcoming album, which may feature a collaboration with Taylor Swift. The music producer of the "Break My Soul" hitmaker discussed the possibility of her collaborating with the "All Too Well" songstress for her forthcoming set titled "Act II".
Speaking to TMZ on Tuesday, February 13, the 42-year-old superstar's producer named Killah B received a question about the possibility of the singer including a collaborative single with Taylor in the new album. In response, he stated, "You guys gonna have to wait and see."
During the chat, Killah, who produced and co-wrote Queen Bey's new single titled "Texas Hold 'Em", was asked about possible "guest artists" in the album. The Grammy-nominated producer spilled, "Let's just say that she is on the approach of shocking the world. I'll let your imagination decide."
That same day, it was reported that Beyonce "doesn't care" about critics who are not supporting her new country era. A source revealed to Daily Mail, "She knows there will be pushback by those who want her to stay in a narrow lane but she doesn't care. In fact, it has made her more daring. By the time the summer is over, her detractors will know the difference between yee and haw."
The insider continued, "Bey was given the motivation to make a country record after seeing how many of her fans loved her single 'Daddy Lessons' and her performance at the CMAs." The insider was referring to the award show in 2016 wherein she took the stage with country band The Chicks.
"She wanted to use her platform to spotlight the contributions African-Americans have made to genres they have been shut out of," the insider further explained. "She spent months writing and researching."
The report came a few days after Queen Bey announced that the second part of her acclaimed 2022 album "Renaissance" titled "Act II" is coming on March 29. She made the announcement during the 2024 Super Bowl on Sunday night, February 11. She also shared via Instagram a video to tease her new country singles titled "16 CARRIAGES" and "TEXAS HOLD 'EM".
