During her concert in Tokyo, Japan, the 'All Too Well' hitmaker talks about her upcoming album 'The Tortured Poets Department' and nearly falls off when she performs her song.

AceShowbiz - Taylor Swift has revealed the real reason why she has written so many albums. When taking the stage in Japan for her "Eras Tour", the "All Too Well" hitmaker talked about how she created her upcoming album titled "The Tortured Poets Department", which is set to be released in April.
On Wednesday, February 7, the 34-year-old Grammy-winning songstress entertained her fans, Swifties, at the Tokyo Dome in Tokyo. During the show, she took her time to discuss the responses that she got after announcing that she has a new record coming soon.
Speaking to concertgoers from the stage, Taylor said, "Everyone's like, 'Why do you make so many albums?' I'm like, 'Man, because I love it! I love it so much!' " She pointed out, "I'm having fun, leave me alone!"
The "Bad Blood" singer went on to unveil, "I've been working on 'Tortured Poets' since right after I turned in 'Midnights'. You turn in an album months in advance so you can make vinyls, which are the best. So, I started working on it immediately after that and I've been working on it for about two years."
Taylor, who broke the news about the new set at the 2024 Grammy Awards on Sunday, February 4, also spilled her plan b for the announcement. She shared, "I thought, 'If I'm lucky enough to get a Grammy, I'm just gonna do it.' My backup plan was I was gonna do it tonight in Tokyo." She then recalled, "I kept working on it throughout the U.S. tour, and when it was perfect in my opinion, when it was good enough for you, I finished it."
"I am so, so excited that soon you'll get to hear it," she continued. "Soon we'll get to experience that together, and I'm just like, I'm over the moon the fact that you guys care about my music. It still blows my mind. I love doing this. I know I keep saying that, but that's because it's true."
During the concert, Taylor delivered many of her songs, including "Vigilante S**t". For the particular track, she offered the concertgoers a steamy dance by showing off her dancing skills on a chair. At one point, she nearly fell off as she miscalculated the position of the chair. Though so, she was able to keep her body steady with both of her legs while squatting.
