AceShowbiz - Ariana Grande is unfazed by "homewrecker" allegations against her which surfaced following the release of her new single "Yes, And?". On the song, the singer/actress claps back at haters for caring too much about her personal life, but insiders now claim that the song's intentions have been misunderstood.
The former Nickelodeon star has come under fire since she started dating Ethan Slater shortly after her split from ex-husband Dalton Gomez, while Ethan himself is still undergoing divorce with his estranged wife Lilly Jay. But the "7 Rings" songstress reportedly "couldn't care less" about the speculation regarding the timeline of her relationship with her "Wicked" co-star.
"She realizes that at this point there's no way to change people's minds," one of the sources tells The National Enquirer (via RadarOnline.com). The 30-year-old is reportedly getting inspiration from other A-list ladies, including Angelina Jolie, Kristen Stewart and LeAnn Rimes, who have all gone on to shake off rumors about their relationships and do just fine with their lives and careers. "The labels don't bother her," the source claims.
Indeed, Ariana and Ethan remain strong despite the backlash surrounding their romance. On January 22, the pair were seen walking hand in hand as they touched down into New York City together. They were pictured walking through JFK together, accompanied by Ariana's dog Toulouse.
On the same day, Ariana celebrated "Yes, And?" reaching No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, becoming her eighth No. 1 song on the chart. "I am so so so…… so emotional. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to my fans, the most incredible angels in the world, for the love you have shown this song and me," she gushed on her Instagram Story.
She continued, "It is overwhelming and so sincerely moving to see how many of you this song has resonated with and it is such a gift to feel so seen and held by you!
