AceShowbiz - Nicole Kidman has proven that she has been keeping her physique fit. When making an appearance at the premiere of her latest TV series "Expats", the actress portraying Margaret on the show proudly showed off her figure in a backless dress.

On Sunday, January 21, the 56-year-old actress hit the red carpet at the event, which took place at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City, in a stylish nearly all-black ensemble. She looked stunning in a black dress that came with a backless design, allowing her to flaunt her back and the sides of her toned stomach.

Nicole also showcased her upper thigh down to her ankles since the gown had a thigh-high slit on one of the wearer's legs. The dress, which was long enough to sweep the floor, also featured an interesting detail of green veil inside the clothing piece. The inner part could be seen clearly when she struck a number of poses in front of photographers.

Nicole put on a pair of pointed-toe black high heels to match the dress. To add a different color to the look, she accessorized herself with a pair of sparkling silver pearl-drop earrings, a number of matching rings and bracelets as well as a white wrist watch.

The "Big Little Lies" star looked fresh with her apparently minimal makeup, including red lipstick, long lashes and black eyeliner. She wore her long blonde hair down, styled it in waves, parted it in the middle and tucked it behind both of her ears.

Before stepping on the red carpet, Nicole covered her back when she arrived at the event. She put on a long black blazer, which came with two long sleeves, over the dress, seemingly to keep her body warm. She apparently ditched the outer from Versace when she hit the red carpet.

During the event, Nicole posed for several pictures. At one point, she took a photo with the director of "Expats" named Lulu Wang, who looked chic in her black-and-silver outfit, including a glittery silver dress.
