AceShowbiz - Meri Brown had a special announcement on her 53rd birthday. When celebrating her latest milestone, the "Sister Wives" star introduced her new boyfriend to the world by sharing pictures of the two on Instagram.
"Birthday #53 is looking a bit different for me this year, and might I say, I like how it looks! Meet Amos, the good looking guy I've been dating since October!" the TV personality wrote in the Tuesday, January 16 post. "He's not 6 foot 6, nor is he a pilot, but he loves Christmas almost as much as I do, and we laugh a lot together, both of which are important elements to a relationship!"
Meri added, that her dog, Zona, also "absolutely loves him (be sure to swipe to see the cutest picture!)." She added, "I've been keeping this kind of close to me as we've been enjoying the last few months of dating and getting to know each other."
"As I've considered when and how I wanted to share this fun news and share him with the world (jk, not really sharing, I'm keeping him to myself) I knew I wanted to celebrate my birthday in a special way and let you celebrate this with me!" she continued. "I feel like I'm getting this year off to a great start, and I can't wait to share more with you as the year moves forward!"
Meri confirmed her split from Kody Brown in December 2022 after 32 years of marriage. In the first episode of "Sister Wives: One on One", she was sitting down with host Sukanya Krishnan while watching a clip of Kody saying he doesn't consider himself married to her.
Of how she feels upon hearing Kody's statement, Meri said, "It just doesn't make sense to me that he would be so frustrated with [Christine Brown] and be like, 'She just made this decision. We didn't consult, we didn't talk, she just made the decision and then he says, 'No, I don't consider myself married to Meri.' " She added, "Like, he just made the decision. I've never heard him say that to me."
When Sukanya asked Meri whether she was "still married to Kody," she replied, "Well, he's already made the decision. You just saw him say that." Meri said at the time that she was "definitely" open to rekindling her romance with Kodi even though she doubted that "he's interested."
