AceShowbiz - Tom Holland has broken his silence on speculation that he and Zendaya Coleman have called it quits on their romance after dating for more than two years. The British actor has insisted that he and the actress are still together despite the rumors.
The Peter Parker/Spider-Man depicter in the Marvel Cinematic Universe shut down the rumors once and for all when met during an outing in Los Angeles on Friday, January 12. He was walking through an alley with a friend when a videographer asked him about the breakup buzz.
Giving a clear and straight answer, he said in a video obtained by TMZ, "No, no, no. Absolutely not." The 27-year-old didn't elaborate further as he arrived at the parking lot and got into his car. He sat behind the wheel with his male pal on the passenger seat.
Fans and social media users went abuzz with speculation that Tom and Zendaya might have pulled the plug on their relationship after the actress unfollowed everyone, including her boyfriend, on Instagram earlier this month. Meanwhile, the "Uncharted" star still follows the "Euphoria" actress.
They also have not been seen together in public for some time, with the twosome stepping out separately in California on Wednesday, January 10. Tom was seen at Members Club, a swanky spot in West Hollywood, solo on the night, while Zendaya was spotted driving around Los Angeles during the day with a male pal in the passenger seat.
On Friday, when Tom was spotted with his pal, Zendaya was seen hanging out with her brother Austin. They were seen walking around Culver City before heading to a parked car.
However, according to a source with direct knowledge, the pair were still together as of New Year's Eve. The source told TMZ the couple spent NYE with each other, though they were not seen in any pictures from the supposed celebration.
Moreover, the "Onward" voice actor and the Emmy-winning actress joined forces to record a sweet video message to their fans ahead of the holidays. In the clip circulating online in December, the two sent the holiday cheer from what looks like a hospital room.
