AceShowbiz - Dua Lipa voiced her excitement to be "bonded for life" with Seth Meyers. When making an appearance on "Late Night with Seth Meyers", the "New Rules" hitmaker declared that she was "very excited" to get a new matching tattoo with the host of the TV program.
In the Tuesday, January 9 episode of the show, the 28-year-old singer and the 50-year-old TV personality revealed that they were getting matching inks live in front of the audience after agreeing to do so back in December 2023. In the beginning of a hilarious segment, he invited her to treat herself to a tequila shot from a "Barbie Dreamhouse shot luge," which was made in honor of Dua's song and appearance in the "Barbie" movie.
Dua and Seth took turns drinking tequila, which each of them poured down from a slide of the pink Dreamhouse. At one point, he said, "So, first of all, please do enjoy these Dua and Seth Barbies that are not available for sale," while pointing to two figures channeling the two stars.
Dua and Seth further moved to a part of the studio where a tattoo artist named Keith "Bang Bang" McCurdy was ready with his tools. Seth spilled, "Alright, we're going to get matching tattoos. But I've never gotten a tattoo before, so we're just going to do a solitary dot," prompting the audience members to burst into laughter.
Seemingly disagreeing with Seth's idea, Dua suggested, "Well, I think we should [do] maybe a little star. A little star, how do you feel about that?" Seth replied with a joke, "Okay, are you pulling a fast one on me?" before they took turns in getting another shot.
Dua was the first one to get the tattoo, which was inked on one of her legs and slightly below her ankle. "Oh, my God, this is perfect. I'm very excited. We're going to be, like, bonded for life," she said during the segment.
Later on, it was Seth's turn to get his first ever ink. He could be seen tensely sitting on a sofa as he put one of his legs on a table. While the tattoo artist was doing his job, the host treated himself to one more shot. He hilariously declared, "It's really funny to have made it this long in my life not getting a tattoo."
