AceShowbiz - Chase Stokes and Kelsea Ballerini were celebrating a special milestone in their relationship. When marking their first dating anniversary, the "Outer Banks" actor and the "Love Me Like You Mean It" songstress treated fans to never-before-seen pictures and videos of the two.
On Sunday, January 7, the 31 heartthrob shared a photo of him smiling as his girlfriend planted a sweet kiss on his forehead. He also let out a video of the two warming up by the fire. "One year of lovin you," he captioned it, "p.s. told ya I wouldn't embarrass you."
Kelsea, for her part, uploaded a video that captured him rocking out in an arena while she performed onstage. Another image saw Chase standing by the edge of a stage as Ballerini looked down at him with a smile.
"a whole trip around the sun with my bestie, the 30-year-old singer wrote in the accompanying message. "@hichasestokes thanks for making me write love songs."
Kelsea and Chase started communicating back in December 2022 after she slid into his Instagram Direct Message. Although they started dating in January 2023, the couple did not go public with their relationship until March that same year.
Back in November, Kelsea got candid about her sex life with Chase. "[Sex] was something that I always felt was very … like my experience with it was very performative and for the other person," she said on the "Call Her Daddy" podcast.
Kelsea continued, "And it don't be like that anymore. I'm having a nice time. I'm just having a nice time!" On the reason why, she explained, "I didn't understand how [sex] could be a real connector in a relationship. I always thought it was just something that you did. Now, I realize it's a connector for people. The safety it gives you is so beautiful. You get to know yourself and it's a whole new world."
