At the awards-giving event, hosted by Jo Koy, HBO's 'Succession' comes out as the biggest winner as it collects four awards, including the coveted Best Drama Series.

AceShowbiz - The full winners at the TV department at the 2024 Golden Globe Awards were revealed at the Sunday, January 7 ceremony at the Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles. At the event, hosted by Jo Koy, HBO's "Succession" came out as the biggest winner as it collected four awards that night.

One of the accolades was the coveted Best Drama Series trophy. With the show's fourth and final season, it successfully took home the award after going against strong contenders, including "1923", "The Crown", "The Diplomat", "The Last of Us" and "The Morning Show".

"Succession" star Sarah Snook, meanwhile, was named as the winner of Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series - Drama award. Joining the Shiv Roy depictor as the nominees were Helen Mirren ("1923"), Bella Ramsey ("The Last of Us"), Keri Russell ("The Diplomat"), Imelda Staunton ("The Crown") and Emma Stone ("The Curse").

Other victories came from Matthew Macfadyen and Kieran Culkin. Culkin won Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series - Drama award, while Macfadyen was honored with Best Performance by a Supporting Actor in a Series, Limited Series, Anthology Series, or Motion Picture Made for Television.

"Beef" was also among the biggest winners that night. The Netflix series won Best Limited Series, Anthology Series or Television Motion Picture, edging out "All the Light We Cannot See", "Daisy Jones & the Six", "Fargo", "Fellow Travelers" and "Lessons in Chemistry".

Earlier that night, "Beef" star Steven Yeun was presented with Best Performance by an Actor in a Limited Series, Anthology Series, or Motion Picture Made for Television award. His co-star Ali Wong was also among the celebrated stars after winning the award for Best Performance by an Actress in a Limited Series, Anthology Series, or Motion Picture Made for Television.

FX's "The Bear", on the other hand, earned another coveted award, Best Television Series - Musical or Comedy, at the event. It's the third award for the series as stars Jeremy Allen White and Ayo Edebiri were presented with Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series - Musical or Comedy and Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series - Musical or Comedy respectively earlier that night.

In the movie department, meanwhile, Christopher Nolan-directed movie "Oppenheimer" dominated with five wins. Find the full list of movie winners here.
