The musician, known professionally as P. Exeter Blue, submits his petition to dismiss his divorce days after his famous mom filed for a conservatorship to control access to his money.

AceShowbiz - Cher's son Elijah Blue Allman is giving his marriage to Marieangela King another shot. The musician, known professionally as P. Exeter Blue, reportedly has decided to withdraw his divorce petition.

According to Us Weekly, the 47-year-old filed court documents on Tuesday, January 2 asking a court to dismiss their divorce case. The musical artist originally filed for divorce from his spouse in November 2021 after nearly eight years of marriage.

Both Elijah and Marieangela have yet to address their reconciliation. However, Marieangela's lawyer Regina Ratner told the publication on Wednesday that "Marieangela has always been [Elijah's] rock" and "has only been a stabilizing force for him."

The news arrived after Cher filed for a conservatorship to control access to Elijah's money on December 27. In the docs, she stated that her 47-year-old son is "substantially unable to manage his own financial resources."

"[Cher] has been unable to discuss Elijah's preferences concerning the appointment of a temporary conservator because given Elijah's current mental and physical health issues," the docs read, "discussed in detail in the concurrently filed Confidential Supplemental Information, he is unable to form or express a preference concerning the appointment of a conservator for his estate."

It added, "[Cher] is concerned that any funds distributed to Elijah will immediately be spent on drugs, leaving Elijah with no assets to provide for himself, and putting Elijah's life at risk."

After Cher made her filing, her daughter-in-law Marieangela brought up some allegations against her. The 36-year-old singer told Page Six that Cher and her family "historically excluded" her from making decisions regarding Elijah's care, including when the music icon allegedly "kidnapped" her son to get him into rehab and placed him in a "locked cage" instead of a "legitimate, ethically operated" facility.

"I have always been a champion for the sober community and for Elijah's sobriety," Marieangela stated. "What I am not ok with are establishments that exclude me (his wife) from being part of Elijah''s treatment and hopeful recovery."
