For the event, Chloe donned a beautiful pink gown that made her look like a Disney princess. The 25-year-old songstress, who performed "Walk on By" in front of the audience, traded her long locks to bob do' which was seemingly her way to pay tribute to Dionne.

Fans loved the new look with one saying, "You work hard, but your hair stylist works harder." One other commented, "Ion know who be tucking them locs… but they deserve a raise."

"Nahhh seriously….the hair stylists of the Bailey sisters…they need to be studied for witchcraft, sorcery and magic !!! BECAUSE THIS IS AMAZING!!!" another gushed. Similarly, someone added, "We need to meet the sorceress responsible for the hair."

Fellow celebrities also raved over Chloe's look in the comment section. "I love you!!" Cynthia Erivo said. Brandee Evans, meanwhile, penned, "It's the beauty and joy for me!!!"

In addition to Chloe, other artists who paid tribute to the honorees that night were Kerry Washington, Jay Leno, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Whoopi Goldberg, Cynthia, Sigourney Weaver, Clive Davis, Missy Elliott and Ben Platt.

During the ceremony, Robert De Niro could also be seen poking fun at honoree Billy Crystal as well as President Joe Biden's ages. During his turn on stage at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, the "Taxi Driver" actor told the "When Harry Met Sally ..." star, "You're only 75. That means you're just about six years away from being the perfect age to be elected president."
