More than one week after being accused of domestic violence by his estranged wife, the Miami-based plastic surgeon files a defamation lawsuit against the 'Real Housewives of Miami' star.

AceShowbiz - Lenny Hochstein appeared to have taken a legal action following accusation leveled at him by Lisa Hochstein. More than one week after being accused of domestic violence by his estranged wife, the Miami-based plastic surgeon filed a civil suit against the star of "The Real Housewives of Miami".
In new court documents, which were submitted by Lenny on Friday, December 1 and obtained by Us Weekly, the 57-year-old is seeking damages up to $100,000 as well as attorneys' fees. In the docs, he vehemently denied her allegation, which suggested that he caused a bruise on her arm, and claimed that she harassed him.
Lenny reportedly wrote in the legal papers, "It came about because [Lisa] as usual was yelling at and berating [Lenny] when he came home from work, as she did almost daily telling him how he never does anything right, so [Lenny] attempted to walk away and started walking up the stairs and [Lisa] walked in front of [him] going backwards up the stairs so she could continue yelling in [his] face and [she] lost her balance and fell on a stair."
The surgeon went on to state, "Nothing can be further from the truth." He explained, "[Lisa's] lies of abuse are not a surprise to [Lenny] as [Lisa] stated publicly that she needs to retaliate against [her ex] for what [Lisa] claims is harassment. Yet [Lenny] is not harassing [Lisa] but rather presenting the truth which [Lisa] does not like."
The defamation lawsuit came a little over one week after Lisa publicly claimed that Lenny physically abused her and caused an injury on her arm. On November 22, the 41-year-old reality TV star uploaded via Instagram Story a mirror selfie featuring the alleged injury. In the snap, it could be seen that she had a bruise above one of her elbows.
Over the snap, Lisa penned, "Didn't want to have to share this. But I'm left with no choice. I'm being threatened and harassed through the court system and through 'others' by Lenny and it needs to stop. This was almost 2 weeks old from last season. You may have caught this bruise on the episode when I opened up to the women on the show about the divorce."
In the wake of the allegation, Lenny issued a statement to Daily Mail one day later. "Lisa obtained the bruise by falling on the staircase in our house. I came home one day, and Lisa met me at the entrance. As usual, she started yelling and screaming at me and berating me," he said.
"As I tried to walk upstairs, she walked ahead of me, for some reason she decided to walk backwards on the staircase so she could continue to yell at me to my face. She fell and landed on her left upper arm," Lenny continued. He further noted, "I am discussing the next step with my attorney."
Lenny and Lisa are currently in the middle of divorce process that has turned ugly. They have two children, 8-year-old Logan and 4-year-old Ella Marie, together. Currently, Lenny is engaged to model Katharina Mazepa, while Lisa is dating the CEO of Introhive, Jody Glidden.
