AceShowbiz - Beyonce Knowles has reacted to recent allegations leveled at her. After being accused of "trying to be a white woman" and "bleaching her skin," the "Break My Soul" hitmaker gave her subtle reaction to the claims with new photos.
On Wednesday, November 29, the 42-year-old superstar uploaded a series of pictures via Instagram. In one of the snaps, she offered a close-up look at her face, which was framed by a white jacket hood and her platinum hair. She appeared to have shown off how her brown skin looked when being compared to white color.
Several other photos captured Queen Bey striking a number of poses in her nearly all-white ensemble. One of them showed the songstress posing in front of a huge mirror in what appeared to be a luxury hotel. Meanwhile, the rest of the pictures saw her standing next to her rapper husband Jay-Z, who was wearing an all-black get-up.
In the snaps, Beyonce looked stunning in a skin-tight white crop hoodie, unbuttoned long-sleeved white blazer and long white furred coat as well as a pair of loose long matching sweatpants. To complete the look, she put on a pair of white pointed-toe high heels, black sunglasses and a shimmering gold clutch. While covering most part of her hair with the hood, she parted her platinum hair in the middle.
The new post came shortly after Beyonce's mother Tina Knowles ranted at "losers" for claiming that the singer wanted to be a white woman and bleached her skin. On Tuesday, November 28, the fashion designer slammed critics in a lengthy Instagram caption, "Came across this today and decided to post it after seeing all of the stupid ignorant self, hating racist statements about her, lightening her skin, and wearing platinum hair wanting to be white."
Tina continued, "She does a film, called the renaissance, where the whole theme is silver with silver hair, a silver carpet, and suggested silver attire and you bozos decide that she's trying to be a white woman and is bleaching her skin? .. How sad is it that some of her own people continue the stupid narrative with hate and jealousy. Duh, she wore silver hair to match her silver dress as a fashion statement clown. . ALIEN Superstar duh!"
The allegations arose after Beyonce attended the premiere of her "Renaissance" concert film at Samuel Goldwyn Theater in Los Angeles wearing an all-silver outfit. While rocking a skin-tight long metallic gown from Versace, she flaunted her long platinum tresses that were styled into a simple straight hairdo.
