The hip-hop mogul is reportedly the subject of a secret, NYPD investigation possibly involving sexual assault as Azealia Banks claims Cassie once got beaten up so bad that Diddy sent her on a three-week vacation.

AceShowbiz - Sean "P. Diddy" Combs continues to find himself in the hot seat. After being slapped with a rape lawsuit by his ex Cassie, the rapper is reportedly under criminal investigation by the New York City Police Department.
According to TMZ, the hip-hop mogul is the subject of a secret investigation possibly involving sexual assault. Law enforcement sources tell the site there is an open case at NYPD with the name "Sean Combs" but the file has been "locked," meaning it's a sensitive case where access is restricted.
The report comes on the heels of Cassie's civil lawsuit against Diddy, in which she accused her ex-boyfriend of "rape, and of repeated physical abuse over about a decade." Cassie alleged that Diddy kept providing her with drugs until she couldn't refuse them.
When asked about the lawsuit, the NYPD said in a statement to TMZ, "The NYPD takes sexual assault and rape cases extremely seriously, and urges anyone who has been a victim to file a police report so we can perform a comprehensive investigation, and offer support and services to survivors."
Diddy has denied the allegations by Cassie, calling it an attempt to seek "a payday." His attorney Ben Brafman said in a statement, "Mr. Combs vehemently denies these offensive and outrageous allegations."
Accusing Cassie of "blackmail," the lawyer added, "Despite withdrawing her initial threat, Ms. Ventura has now resorted to filing a lawsuit riddled with baseless and outrageous lies." He went on claiming that the lawsuit aims "to tarnish Mr. Combs' reputation and seeking a pay day."
Meanwhile, Azealia Banks has supported Cassie's claims. Via her Instagram Story, she claimed that Diddy once beat up the "Official Girl" songstress so bad that he had to send her away on a three-week vacation.
"This is true. One time Diddy beat her up so bad he sent her on a 3week 'vacation' to Hawaii just so no one would see or question how her face got like that," the raptress wrote on late Thursday, November 17. She went on blasting the Bad Boy Records founder, "Another violent hiphop homosexual. This is what mental illness looks like for all of you armchair psycologists."
