Making use of her X account, the 'I Must Apologise' singer clarifies her comments in which she allegedly called her hit and its remix with Ice Spice 'crap' in a recent interview.

AceShowbiz - PinkPantheress has set the record straight. Making use of her X account, the "I Must Apologise" singer clarified her comments in which she allegedly called "Boy's a Liar" and its remix "crap" in a recent interview.

Denying the claims, the British artist wrote on the microblogging app, which was previously known as Twitter, "lord help us. I told the journalist I thought the OG was crap at first but the remix made me love it," referring to her collaboration with Ice Spice.

The "Just for me" singer also noted that her claims shouldn't be too surprising because "[she's] said this openly before too." She additionally called the report "false narratives."

Fans showed support for PinkPantheress following her clarification. "Glad she cleared up the mess," one person wrote in an Instagram comment. "They always take things out of context," someone added.

"also even if she did hate the remix who f**king cares??? it's literally her music… why do people act as if they've never been critical of something they've made before lmfaooo," another user noted.

Prior to this, PinkPantheress reportedly wasn't happy with "Boy's a Liar" and its remix "Boy's a Liar Pt. 2", calling them "crap." She said in an interview with The Guardian, "With every new height that I achieve, I feel like I have to do something that proves that I'm a serious artist. Even with 'Boy's a Liar', people know me for the song, but I feel like now I have to prove that I can write."

Not expecting the songs to be so big, the Bath-born musician further noted, "I thought on an internet level it was going to be big. I didn't expect it to be big on the radio. The songs that are not my greatest are the ones that do better." PinkPantheress also dubbed her song "Internet Baby" off her new album "Heaven Knows" "crap."

PinkPantheress, meanwhile, picked "I Must Apologise" from her debut mixtape "To Hell With It" and "Angel" from "Barbie" soundtrack as her personal favorites. "It was so much fun. I was really excited to be asked. I loved the actual process of meeting the director. I got to meet Mark Ronson. I went on set," she divulged.
