AceShowbiz - The wedding bells are seemingly ringing for Matty Healy and his girlfriend Gabbriette Bechtel. If a new report is to be believed, The 1975 frontman has been engaged to the model/influencer.

The one breaking the news was Instagram blogger Deuxmoi, who claimed in Instagram Stories on Monday, November 13 that the tip was from a "reliable source." The blogger later spilled what the anonymous tipster said about the couple's alleged engagement.

In a screenshot, someone wrote in a DM to Deuxmoi, "Not sure if you already posted about it or not but matty healy and gabbriete are engaged." The source also asked to remain anonymous.

Matty and Gabbriete first sparked romance rumors when they were pictured showing PDA during an outing in New York City in September. In pictures circulating online, they were seen getting cozy, kissing, hugging and holding hands, during a stroll around Soho and Washington Square Park.

The pair went color-coordinated in black outfits for the day out. The "About You" singer looked casual in a black T-shirt with dark wash jeans and sunglasses. As for Gabbriette, she opted to wear a black tank top, gray belted skirt and tall leather boots.

That aside, Matty was recently trolled online after a video saw him almost choking himself with a microphone cable. In the clip, the singer was swinging his mic around his neck. However, it was so tight that he appeared to be choked.

Fans had mixed responses upon watching the clip. "I can't believe that this is the most normal thing he is ever done," one said of the ex-boyfriend of Taylor Swift. Trolling Matty, one commented, "When he saw Taylor run up on Travis like that," referring to the "Anti-Hero" singer and her new boyfriend Travis Kelce.

"He almost went out like Todd in Final Destination," one other joked. Another person, however, pointed out that this actually happened "years ago."
