In a 2017 unauthorized biography titled "The Kardashians: An American Drama", author Jerry Oppenheimer revealed that Robert and Priscilla dated after she split from the music icon. It's said that Robert was convinced that they would get married and had kids together.
However, their romance didn't go smoothly as Elvis often made Robert feel like he was third wheeling by interrupting them in bizarre and controlling ways. A close friend reveals in the book that the ex-husband of Kris Jenner once complained how the "Can't Help Falling in Love" hitmaker called his ex then he was having an intimate intercourse with Priscilla. Things quickly went awkward as Priscilla allegedly propped the bedside receiver on the pillow between them, so Rob couldn't help but to listen to their conversation.
The book claims that Elvis didn't want to see Priscilla dating other men for the sake of their daughter Lisa Marie Presley. Not stopping there, Robert's romance with Priscilla also caused rift between Robert and his brother. It was said that the Kardashians were both interested in Priscilla and when the latter chose Robert, his brother was jealous.
The final straw, meanwhile, was Priscilla's lack of cooking skills. Their romance went downhill after Priscilla cooked a meal for Robert. He allegedly was not satisfied with the food, so he asked her to never prepare a meal for him ever again.
Robert and Priscilla's romance fizzled out and the lawyer eventually married Kris Jenner. With Kris, Robert had four kids together, Kourtney Kardashian, Kim Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian and Rob Kardashian. They tied the knot in 1978 before splitting in 1991.
Despite their failed romance, it was said that Robert still had a special place in Priscilla's heart. The actress reportedly called him during his final days, gently telling "him she loved him." Robert died in July 2003, two months after he was diagnosed with esophageal cancer.
