AceShowbiz - Jana Kramer has shut down chatter about her faking her pregnancy. The "One Tree Hill" alum, who is expecting her first child with fiance Allan Russell, said it's just "crazy" to see people spreading the false rumors.
The 39-year-old responded to the speculations when speaking to E! News' Francesca Amiker in an exclusive interview about her new memoir, "The Next Chapter: Making Peace with Hard Memories, Finding Hope All Around Me, and Clearing Space of Good Things to Come". She said, "There's these people out there saying that I'm wearing a fake belly... I'm like, 'Oh my god, you guys are crazy!' "
Jana, however, didn't let the speculations bother her that much as she had just "a couple of more weeks left" in her pregnancy. She then quipped, "I cannot wait to get this baby out of me."
Jana confirmed her engagement to Allan back in May. In the following month, she announced her pregnancy by telling PEOPLE, "I didn't think it would ever happen again, if I'm being honest. I've been through a lot, so this has just been a really beautiful thing. I'm letting it all sink in. It's everything I've wanted and more."
"Allan was so sweet. He wrote me this little sticky note saying, 'You deserve the happy ending,' " the singer/actress, who already has daughter Jolie, seven, and son Jace, four, with her ex-husband Mike Caussin, further noted. She then divulged, "I've had miscarriages, so I didn't even know if it was possible."
"I'm like, yes, it'd be beautiful for us to create something because I love this man. It would be the silver lining with everything that happened, but I'd always get kind of down about it because I didn't know if I was capable of carrying a pregnancy again," the pregnant star continued. "I was like, well, I'm going to be 40 in December, so I was like, we have one month to try. Literally one month."
