AceShowbiz - Kelly Ripa has made fun of Mark Consuelos over his lack of consideration for her being a vegetarian. On her and her husband's show "Live with Kelly and Mark", the longtime host of the TV program roasted her co-host for ordering her fish despite her dietary restrictions.

In the Monday, October 30 episode of the show, 53-year-old Kelly recalled that it happened when she went to a bathroom and her 52-year-old husband had to order her food during a Friday night, October 27 event. She began saying, "Mark and I have been married a really long time, almost three decades. That's a long time by long-time standards, but this man has no idea who I am."

On the reason why, Kelly further claimed that he ordered her "a giant piece of halibut" while there were vegetarian options, including eggplant and quinoa. "Halibut! I'm pretty much a known vegetarian. Except for [when I'll] occasionally have a piece of steak, you know that, but he ordered me the halibut," she pointed out. She went on to argue that she was "the only person with fish at our table" while Mark, who is not a vegetarian, had an eggplant.

In response, Mark denied Kelly's claims. The 52-year-old actor explained, "See, I'm so glad I'm here! I'm so glad I'm here, because usually I'm in Vancouver or off somewhere else and I would let these fake news stories just continue." He insisted, "No, that's not true, that's not true!"

"Everybody had fish except for me and Hamilton," the "Riverdale" star added. "Because I made such a face and the lady said, 'You don't want that?' And I go, 'Is there anything else?' And she goes, 'I think I may be able to find some eggplant.' And I go, 'I would love one!' " He also told the waitress that halibut is "not my thing."

It did not take long for Kelly to reply, "And so would my wife! The vegetarian!" Mark then defended himself by stating that he "didn't want to be fussy." He elaborated, "There was a thousand people in the room, I wanted to be agreeable! I said, 'Oh, that would be so nice!' Because she said, 'Maybe I can get you an eggplant,' and the eggplant came, and I said, 'Would you like some, honey?' And you said, 'No.' "

"No, I don't want your eggplant! I want my own eggplant! That's what I want, I want my own eggplant," Kelly later pointed out. "One vegetarian at the table, only one vegetarian at the table, me! And the two guys to my right had quinoa and veg and this one had eggplant," she added, making a reference to their friend Hamilton.
