AceShowbiz - The beef between Kourtney Kardashian and sister Kim Kardashian seemingly isn't that deep. For this year's Halloween, the Poosh founder decided to channel none other than Kim as she recreated one of Kim's iconic looks.
On Friday, October 27, Kourtney treated her 224 million followers on Instagram to a series of photos of her dressing up as the SKIMS founder. Posing in front of a white background, the expecting reality TV star flaunted her baby bump in a floral dress from Riccardo Tisci.
Those who are keeping up with the Kardashians might find the dress familiar. That was because it looked similar to the one that Kim wore when attending the 2013 Met Gala alongside then-husband Kanye West. At the time, Kim was pregnant with their first child with Kanye West.
"Freaky Friday," Kourtney, who is expecting her first child with Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker, wrote in the caption. She also tagged Kim in the post.
At the time, Kim faced mockery over the floral Givenchy dress as some fans compared the gown to a sofa. "The Kardashians" star explained in a 2019 video interview how she chose the dress for the big fashion event, which marked her first Met Gala appearance.
"Riccardo was dressing me because he was dressing Kanye. So we chose a really stretchy fabric because I would be growing and we wanted to make sure that alterations were easy and it was comfortable," she said.
She revealed that she was initially unsure of the floral print ensemble. "I was like, 'I think I should just do the black version,' and Riccardo was like, 'No, come on. We have to do the floral,' " the mom of four shared.
"Riccardo had said afterward, like, 'What do you give a woman when she's pregnant? You send her flowers.' And it was such a sweet message how Riccardo described it." Kim admitted that she still felt "insecure," but decided to remain mum because she "just wanted to make everyone happy."
