AceShowbiz - Ciara could not hold back her tears when it came to attacks on innocent people. Upon learning the number of victims caused by Hamas attacks on Israel, the "Body Party" hitmaker was emotional when she gave her reaction to the heartbreaking incident.
On Saturday, October 14, the 37-year-old made use of X, formerly known as Twitter, to share her response to the matter. "As I laid my head down on my pillow to go to sleep last night, I had a heavy heart and water filled eyes," she began writing.
In the same tweet, the "How We Roll" singer expressed, "Seeing what's happening in Israel is truly heart breaking. I will never understand someone maliciously attacking innocent people. I can't imagine the feeling of families or parents that are losing their loved ones."
Ciara did not forget to send her prayers and support to those who are impacted by the attacks. "My heart goes out to everyone that's being impacted by what's happening. I am with you, and all the other innocent lives that are being impacted by such cruel hearted people," she concluded. Below the message, she added a red heart emoji.
Giving a similar yet different take was TV personality Jill Duggar, who reflected on the Hamas attacks on Israel via Instagram Story. "My heart is heavy for anyone living in a war-torn country. Though vastly different, I know the feeling of living in another country, terrified at times of the very real threat that my husband and I, along with our infant baby might be murdered as our close friends were kidnapped and murdered," the 32-year-old star penned.
"Our personal situation was temporary. I cannot imagine having to deal with these daily threats at home, surrounded by an inescapable, grueling war," the author continued while making a reference to her experience of working as a missionary in El Salvador during gang violence. "There is no easy solution. But evil brutality and terrorism cannot rule… It must be stopped."
Ciara and Jill's statements came a few days after Hamas attacked Israel on October 7 morning. The incident caused at least 1,200 people killed. In addition, more than 100 civilians were kidnapped and held hostage in Gaza.
