AceShowbiz - Caitlyn Jenner has blasted the media for "lying" about her role on a new documentary series. When defending herself against allegedly false claims, the former Olympian, who was called Bruce before her transition, deemed the press "cruel" for saying that she spilled "family tea" on "House of Kardashian".
On Saturday, October 14, the 73-year-old former athlete made use of X, formerly known as Twitter, to express her anger towards the media. She penned, "I hate to see the press lying about my role in the new documentary on Sky saying I spilled all the family tea."
The former "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star went on to write, "It's such BS." She further insisted, "I spoke so highly of all of my family - and yes that includes [Kris Jenner]. The media is so cruel and cares only about clicks. I went on fighting for my family!"
In a previous tweet, Caitlyn reacted to an article about her falling in love with Kris at the first sight. Alongside the attachment of the news, she pointed out, "It's true." She went on to gush over her former wife and their past relationship, "It was magical. Best years of my life! She brought me back to life in so many ways."
Caitlyn's tweets came after her remarks on "House of Kardashian" sparked controversy among Kardashian-Jenner fans. In the trailer for the series, the only member of the Kardashian-Jenner clan who stars on the show stated, "Kimberly calculated from the beginning, 'How do I become famous?' " She was making a reference to her stepdaughter Kim Kardashian.
Despite allegedly speaking so highly of her family members, including Kris, Caitlyn previously revealed that she and the momager are not talking anymore. When making an appearance in the October 4 episode of U.K.'s "This Morning" show, Caitlyn candidly said, "If there's any communication, my manager kind of talks to her."
During the chat, Caitlyn, who shares daughters Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner with Kris, noted that she is "much closer to the Jenner side" of the family. She additionally claimed, "Kris, I don't really have anymore contact with her. It's kind of sad because we went through a lot."
