After taking a brief hiatus from Instagram and removing all of her photos, the "Scared to Be Lonely" singer flaunted her surprising hair transformation while seemingly teasing an upcoming movie project on the social media platform.
On Thursday, October 12, the 28-year-old Grammy winner uploaded a never-seen-before selfie of herself. In the photo, she debuted her freshly dyed hair, showing off eye-catching all-red tresses which were seemingly styled into a simple straight hairdo. Her hair appeared long without bangs on her forehead.
The "Don't Start Now" songstress could be seen striking a pose in front of a camera with a white backdrop behind her. She looked stunning in a tank top that came in white color with red and blue patterns all over it. While keeping her makeup minimal, she filled in her eyebrows as her lips appeared healthy in a glowing pink color.
In addition to the new red hair, Dua showed off a number of tattoos on several parts of her body, including ones on her wrist, finger and arm. Along with the snap, she asked her devotees in the caption of the post, "Miss me?"
Social media users believed that Dua might have teased a possible new movie project through the picture. In the snap, she tagged the Instagram account of photographer and filmmaker Tyrone Lebon. However, she did not offer any details about the matter.
It did not take long for the post to be flooded with positive online responses. In the comments section, one Instagram user stated, "I love the 'miss me?' concept sooooo bad. you're so gorgeous and I'm so excited," adding a crying face emoji. Similarly, another chimed in, "WE ARE SO READY FOR YOU."
The comments did not stop there. A third could not help but gush over Dua's new red tresses by writing, "OH MY GOD DUAAAAAA, I LOVED THIS HAAAAIIIIIRRR," adding a slew of red heart emojis. In the meantime, a fourth simply noted, "Your endless summer vacations finally ends!!!!"
