AceShowbiz - V has finally released his debut solo album, "Layover". To celebrate the special moment, the BTS (Bangtan Boys) member treated fans to the music video for one of its tracks, "Slow Dancing".

The visuals, which was dropped on Friday, September 3, sees the 27-year-old K-pop sensation escaping to the ocean with a group of his pals, swimming among jellyfish and dancing together at the beach. As the clip transitions, he plays a video of a sailing ship on a projector, imagining them as pirates.

"Maybe we could be/ Slow dancing, until the morning," the South Korean hitmaker, whose real name is Kim Tae-hyung, sings in the chorus of the track. "We could be romancing/ The night away."

Aside from "Slow Dancing", V's new project "Layover" also has five other songs. They include "Rainy Days", "Blue", "Love Me Again", "For Us" as well as "Slow Dancing (Piano Ver.)".

Of the album, V said in a statement, "This is an album that has my personal preferences. There will be a lot of things to show. I prepared it while thinking that ARMY would be happy, so I hope you all look forward to it." He added, "You will be able to see solo artist V, which will show a new side and will be different from BTS's V."

V wants to offer a diverse range of music on "Layover" as he continues to push boundaries and explore new genres. "My love for diverse genres often has me humming away. While creating this solo album, I truly discovered my vocal essence, and that's what makes me incredibly fulfilling," he said in an interview.

One of V's inspirations for the album is K-Pop girl group f(x)'s album "Pink Tape" and he reached out to Min Hee-jin, one of the creative minds behind the band. "I wanted to show a different side of my music compared to my past works and collaborating seemed like the best way to achieve that," he explained.
