The approximately two-minute video gives new looks at Zawe Ashton's Dar-Benn, a Kree warrior who causes Carol Danvers, Monica Rambeau and Kamala Khan to swap places.

AceShowbiz - Marvel Entertainment has unleashed the first full trailer for "The Marvels" after pulling the plug on its panel at San Diego Comic-Con. After showing three superheroes swapping places in the first teaser trailer released in the spring, the new sneak peek reveals who's behind it.

It turns out that Dar-Benn (Zawe Ashton) causes the swapping situation, making the powers of Carol Danvers (Brie Larson), Monica Rambeau (Teyonah Parris) and Kamala Khan (Iman Vellani) become entangled. But the villain has a bigger, more sinister agenda as she is intent on destroying several worlds.

"She's targeting every planet we call home," Carol says of Dar-Benn, a Kree warrior revolutionary wielding an Accuser's hammer who is trying to restore her homeland after a civil war.

Now that her power becomes interwoven with the other two superheroes, the three are forced to team up to prevent the annihilation, but Carol says, "I would never choose to bring anybody into this." Monica disagrees, telling Captain Marvel, "You are not the only thing standing between this and the universe."

Samuel L. Jackson returns as Nick Fury, with Park Seo-joon starring as Prince Yan of Aladna and Gary Lewis being cast in undisclosed role. Zenobia Shroff, Mohan Kapur and Saagar Shaikh reprise their roles as Muneeba Khan, Kamala's mother; Yusuf Khan, Kamala's father; and Aamir Khan, Kamala's older brother respectively. Lashana Lynch and Randall Park are also among the returning cast, while Goose, Carol's pet Flerken who resembles a cat, returns, played by cats Nemo and Tango.

In "The Marvels", Carol Danvers a.k.a. Captain Marvel has reclaimed her identity from the tyrannical Kree and taken revenge on the Supreme Intelligence. But unintended consequences see Carol shouldering the burden of a destabilized universe.

When her duties send her to an anomalous wormhole linked to a Kree revolutionary, her powers become entangled with that of Jersey City super-fan Kamala Khan, a.k.a. Ms. Marvel, and Carol's estranged niece, now S.A.B.E.R. astronaut Captain Monica Rambeau. Together, this unlikely trio must team up and learn to work in concert to save the universe as "The Marvels".

Larson previously said of the development her character's storyline, "The first one was the origin story of who she is. Now it's digging into some of the complexities. That there is much more to her than that, that there are parts that are not so great about her. That we can see a hero as being a person that doesn't make every right decision all the time."

Nia DaCosta directs the movie, with the script she co-wrote with Megan McDonnell, Elissa Karasik and Zeb Wells. Kevin Feige serves as producer. The 33rd film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe will hit theaters across the nation on November 10.
