The 'Kardashians' star is left stunned after a woman shares her story on TikTok of how one of the bodysuits from her shapewear brand saved the shooting victim's life.

AceShowbiz - Kim Kardashian's SKIMS bodysuit has proven to be useful beyond its original purpose. The reality TV star and entrepreneur has been left stunned after learning that one of the bodysuits from her shapewear brand has saved a shooting victim's life.
A woman named Angelina Wiley shared on TikTok her story of how a SKIMS bodysuit that she wore kept her from "bleeding out." In the video which was originally posted in May, the user, who goes by honeygxd, began by saying, "Kim Kardashian saved my life."
"This New Year's I got shot four times," she then recalled. "The night I got shot, under my dress, I was wearing a SKIMS shaping bodysuit. It was so tight on me that it literally kept me from bleeding out."
The fan then threw her hands up into the air and expressed, "I recommend it. I'm definitely gonna buy some more. I mean, I should wear it every day. It's like body armor for women." Towards the end of the clip, the woman looked off into the distance and added, "Call it fate or Jesus but I'm gonna call it Kim. Imma call it Kim for sure."
She went on crediting the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" alum for saving her life, writing in the caption, "no but fr, thanks kim."
Kim reposted the video on her Instagram Story on Friday, July 14 and added her comment in the caption as she penned, "wowww."
The video on Angelina's TikTok's page has been liked more than 200,000 times, with many commenting on her story. "Your sense of humor about it is so amazing, I'm glad you're safe! @Kim Kardashian help a girl out!" someone wrote in the comments section.
Another joked, "Okay but you should instantly be a skims sponsor @Skims," to which Angelina cheekily responded, "I'm praying."
CBS affiliate KCTV5 previously reported the shooting. According to the outlet, Angelina was shot in Kansas City on January 1, 2023 while waiting for a Lyft in the early hours of New Year's Day. She was taken to the hospital in an ambulance with a ruptured bladder and cracked pelvis.
After surviving the incident, Angelina said in a TikTok video posted in March that the shooter was wearing a ski mask. As of July, no one has been charged in the shooting.
