AceShowbiz - Taylor Swift is probably singing "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" to her ex Matty Healy now. The former lovers are reportedly not rekindling their romance despite reports stating otherwise.
A source allegedly close to the situation has debunked Taylor and Matty's reconciliation rumors. As cited by Life & Style, the source characterizes the story as completely false, without giving further explanation.
The Sun was the first to report the exes' supposed romantic reunion. According to the site, a pal of the couple said, "There is just something electric between them and they seem to have overcome it all quite quickly and decided they definitely want to make it work at all costs."
On how the American pop superstar and the British rocker would be making it work, the source spilled, "They're arranging time together in between tour dates and talking all the time." The source also gushed, "He's utterly smitten and it seems to be mutual."
The source went on suggesting that The 1975 frontman has fired a female crew member to avoid any future conflict with the Grammy winner. "One thing that was pretty telling was when a girl who had worked with the band for a while - she took care of their image, some styling, hair and make-up, that sort of thing - suddenly left," the source dished.
"It sounds as though there may have been a bit of an issue over her closeness to Matty," the so-called pal explained. "One thing is for sure, he isn't letting anything come between his chances of making it work with Taylor."
Taylor and Matty reportedly called it quits in June following their whirlwind romance, which was first exposed to public in early May. She was previously in a longtime relationship with British actor Joe Alwyn.
