AceShowbiz - Kourtney Kardashian's new Instagram post seemingly comes off as shady for some Internet users. Some fans accused "The Kardashians" star of throwing "shade" at her sister Kim Kardashian after Kim brought her glam team to the DMV in the latest episode of the Hulu reality series.
On Thursday, June 29, the Poosh founder shared a close-up of her new license picture, revealing that she has now legally changed her name to Kourtney Kardashian Barker. "say my name," she captioned her post.
The post interestingly came after the SKIMS mogul closed down a California DMV in the Thursday episode of "The Kardashians". She additionally brought her hair and makeup artists to get her ready for "the most important photo you'll ever take."
In the comments section, fans couldn't help but think that Kourtney shaded Kim with the post. "Lol after Kim's license episode…. It's not a comp kourtney," one fan wrote underneath Kourtney's post. Someone else pointed out the ill-timed post, saying, "the timing of this post has me screaming."
Another fan added, "Kourtney is totally mocking Kim's episode from today." Echoing the sentiment, one person noted, "The same day the episode came out. Dare I say there's still beef," with another saying, "Omg! On Kim K's drivers license episode too. The shade, the nerve, the gumption of it all."
In previous episodes of "The Kardashians", Kourtney and Kim were feuding as Kourtney was upset because Kim scored a deal with Dolce & Gabbana shortly after Kourtney's Italian wedding to Travis Barker. "She said, 'You're trying to copy me,' " Kim explained during dinner with her mother Kris Jenner, sister Khloe Kardashian and the entire Dolce & Gabbana team following the fashion show. "But she always tries to hate on the side. She is such a hater."
Kourtney previously accused Kim of trying to profit from their big day. "While we were at our wedding, I guess Kim was having these conversations with Dolce that I didn't know about," Kourtney told Kendall Jenner through tears. "I feel like there's an abundance of opportunities. It's not about business, it's just there's so much and it takes precedence over hurting your sister. It's legit copying my wedding."
Not stopping there, Kourtney also believed that Kim of not being happy for her at her Italian nuptials to Travis. "She wasn't happy at my wedding. Everyone else was like, 'Whoa, this is amazing. We're having the best time.' She can never give acknowledgment of like, 'Whoa, this is so amazing,' " Kourtney shared.
