On 'The Real Housewives of Orange County', the former 'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' star says she dated a woman for 5 years before her marriage to Russell Armstrong.

AceShowbiz - Taylor Armstrong has gone candid about her sexual preference. While making the confession that she had a romantic relationship with a woman, the former full-time cast member of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" admitted she doesn't "broadcast" being bisexual.
The 52-year-old made the revelation in the Wednesday, June 28 episode of "The Real Housewives of Orange County". In a private confessional, she revealed, "Most people are surprised to find out that I'm bisexual. Probably because stereotypes."
"It's [also] not something I broadcast," the reality TV star continued sharing, "but I'm open to all people that have great souls that you can love."
Taylor opened up about her sexuality after she received a question about it from her co-star Jennifer Pendantri during dinner. When enjoying a girls trip to a ranch in Montana, Jennifer asked, "Are you [bisexual]?" In response, Taylor quipped, "Now are you nervous about me being in the bunkhouse with you?"
The Bravolebrity went on to spill that she was in a relationship with a woman for five years before she married her late husband Russell Armstrong. "Hell, I know marriages that don't last that long," she added.
Taylor's revelation came a few weeks after she got candid about her thoughts and feelings when it came to joining "The Real Housewives of Orange County". During an interview with her co-star Tamra Judge, she told ET, "I'm in such a happier place now in my life."
On the reason why, Taylor explained, "I thought it would be fun to just go have fun with the girls and not feel the pressure of my home life and everything." She was referring to her unpleasant experience in her marriage with Russell, who died by suicide after they finished filming the season two of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills".
Taylor also claimed to have suffered during her marriage to Russell due to him being abusive. "My life has changed completely. That's a long story, but you know, I was in a miserable marriage and went through a lot," she reflected. "And I've grown a lot from then and I have much stronger friendships now, because I'm a better friend."
The TV personality additionally discussed her experience as a newcomer on the series. She admitted, "Walking into an existing cast vs. a cast where we started together has been a bit of a learning curve." She explained, "I'm like, wait, what are you guys mad each other about?!"
