AceShowbiz - Jason Derulo seemingly had so much fun during his Bali trip that he decided to document it through a music video. On Tuesday, June 27, the "Secret Love Song" crooner unleashed "Glad U Came" MV which shows him exploring the island with his love interest.

Based on the visuals, the 33-year-old first meets the woman in a club. The pair then becomes inseparable, traveling and dancing together in a massive, private villa.

"I was at the right place at the right time/ When we first came here, we was just strangers," the musician sings. "The right place at the right time, yeah/ When we dance slowly, was that meant to be?"

The music video came on the same day as Jason's new book, "Sing Your Name Out Loud: 15 Rules for Living Your Dream". In the book, which is a part self-help tome and part memoir, the singer gets candid about how he reached his success.

One of the tips includes "respect the hive." He pens, "Luckily ... I was born into my hive and work with my brother, and I'm working with about four or five of my cousins. One is my tour manager, one is my road manager, one is my stylist, one is my assistant, one is my co-writer. It's really rewarding getting to work with family. I just respect them so much, because it's a tough game out there."

Another key to his success is "Work hardest at what comes easiest to go from good to great." He explains, "Certain things are within your wheelhouse and certain things take a little more work... For instance, I've always had a strong falsetto, and I've just leaned into that. And then I can become exceptional and world-class at that thing as opposed to trying to work on a weakness and just becoming average.
