The niece of the Hollywood star's wife Rita Wilson had a full-blown meltdown after being eliminated in season 2 premiere of the ABC show, missing out the chance to take home the $100,000 prize.

AceShowbiz - Tom Hanks' niece Carly Reeves opened up about her short tenure in season 2 of "Claim to Fame". In a new interview, Carly, whose relation to the Oscar winner was discovered during the season premiere, discussed her dramatic elimination.

Speaking with USA Today on Tuesday, June 27, Carly talked about the ABC show's "obvious" clues regarding "Forrest Gump" that easily gave away Carly's celebrity relative. "I was in a complete fog," she said. "I don't even remember Tom's picture showing up."

She continued, "My eyes were so full of water. I was crying so much, I couldn't even breathe. I just was hyperventilating a little bit because I was shocked."

Carly, who is the niece of Tom's wife Rita Wilson, also criticized the producers for using the Oscar winner's 1994 hit as the clue. "I felt like I didn't get as easy a game as everyone else," she continued to USA Today. "They could have used a million different clues from all of his different movies, but they decided to use the biggest movie of his and make three clues about that. I thought I didn't get a good shot at it, and I just felt like it was all kind of planned to make me go home."

"Honestly, I'm an emotional person, so I'm obviously going to react in a big way," she explained. "Could I have handled myself better and been a little bit more graceful with it? Yes. But as far as being upset and sad, that was all real. So, I can't regret it."

In the season 2 premiere on Monday night, Carly had a full-blown meltdown after being eliminated, blaming the clues that included an image of a ping pong paddle and a park bench. "His frickin' clues were so frickin' obvious. Frickin' Ben showed a frickin' poster of frickin' 'Forrest Gump'! Are you kidding me?" Carly fumed, referring to another competitor on the show.

"Why a bench? Why a bench? There's literally no other references to benches on any other movie," she continued in her tirade. "Even Gabriel [a fellow contestant] found that out. He's not even, like, smart."

The 39-year-old said as she packed up her belongings, "I didn't even get to do any challenges! I don't deserve this! I should have more camera time! I should be here longer."

Now that she's eliminated, Carly missed out the chance to take home the $100,000 prize that will be awarded to one contestant who can hide their identity throughout the show.
