AceShowbiz - Jacquees has been taken into custody and his mugshot is now viral. In the picture, the "Say Yea" singer was seen with a swollen face, prompting fans to express their concern.
The 29-year-old was arrested on Friday, June 23 for charges of simple battery and obstruction of law enforcement officers. According to Rap Alert, the artist has been released from jail after posting his bail.

While details of the arrest remain unknown, fans couldn't help but weigh in on his mugshot. "That sh*t got me heated," one person wrote, while another asked, "you ok my love!!!??" Someone else penned, "Who beat you up because I'm coming."
Legal trouble aside, Jacquees is hitting the road next month. He will embark on "Sincerely for You International Tour", which will kick off in Amsterdam on July 15.
Jacquees is later expected to greet fans in Paris, Adelaide, Melbourne, Auckland, Sydney, Brisbane and London among others. He will wrap up the trek on August 8 in Algeria.

The announcement arrived nearly one year after Jacquees addressed backlash over the "king of R&B" title. "I wouldn't take back nothing I said because that's the energy," he told Rap-Up in August 2022. "That's how I felt at the time."
Jacquees made his bold proclamation back in December 2018. "I just wanna let everybody know that I'm the king of R&B right now," he said in an Instagram clip. "For this generation, I understand who done came and who done did that and that and that, but now it's my time, Jacquees the king of R&B."
