The former Disney darling releases the song to mark the one-year anniversary of the 'Roe v. Wade' reversal as she explains in a statement, 'I created 'SWINE' to amplify the voices of those who advocate for choice and bodily autonomy.'

AceShowbiz - Demi Lovato is still mad about the "Roe v. Wade" reversal. To mark its one-year anniversary, the "Heart Attack" hitmaker released a new single called "Swine" where she expresses her anger regarding the Supreme Court's decision.

To promote the track, the 30-year-old wrote on Instagram, "It's been one year since the Supreme Court's decision to dismantle the constitutional right to a safe abortion, and although the path forward will be challenging, we must continue to be united in our fight for reproductive justice." She added, "I created 'SWINE' to amplify the voices of those who advocate for choice and bodily autonomy."

"I want this song to empower not only the birthing people of this country, but everyone who stands up for equality, to embrace their agency and fight for a world where every person's right to make decisions about their own body is honored," Demi added.

"Swine" arrived on Thursday, June 22 alongside its provocative and political music video. In the clip, which is directed by Meriel O'Connel, Demi shows up in front of a table of men who seemingly represent the Supreme Court as she leads a revolution. At one point, she takes a document they signed and rips it apart.

At the end of the MV, Demi can be seen walking through a burning building. On the angsty pro-choice song, she chants, "My life, my voice/ My rights, my choice/ It's mine, or I'm just swine/ My blood, my loins/ My lungs, my noise/ It's mine, or I'm just swine."

The one-year profit from "Swine" will be donated to the Reproductive Justice Fund at the Demi Lovato Foundation. The funds will then be directed to three non-profit organizations, including NARAL Pro-Choice America, Plan C as well as The National Network of Abortion Funds.
