In other news related to Meghan, Queen Camilla seemingly shades the Duchess of Sussex after a spokesperson for the latter debunked reports regarding a potential deal between the Duchess and Dior.

AceShowbiz - ESPN pundit Stephen A. Smith weighed in on Spotify ending its $20 million deal with Meghan Markle and Prince Harry. In a new episode of "The Stephen A. Smith Show", the host made it clear that he's not a fan of British royal family, dragging the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

"If Prince Harry and the Duchess of Sussex ain't complaining about the royal family, I don't know if anyone cares what they have to say," Stephen said. "I'm not trying to dog (Meghan) like she doesn't have any talent or anything like that. She did damn good on.… I love 'Suits'."

He went on noting, "Matter of fact, I'm gonna watch it again. I'm gonna watch it again. I love that show. But what I'm saying is, you don't really care what they have to say unless they're insulting their family."

Stephen's comments came after Bill Simmons, the CEO of The Ringer whose podcasts are housed on Spotify, slammed the couple on his own podcast. " 'The f**king grifters'. That's the podcast we shoulda launched with them," Bill said shortly after Spotify and the Sussexes issued a joint statement about the end of their deal.

Bill later claimed that he had been called in to help Harry, "I gotta get drunk one night and tell the story of this Zoom I had with Harry to try to help him with a podcast idea. It's one of my best stories." He added, "I wish I had been involved in the 'Meghan and Harry leave Spotify' negotiation. That's a podcast we should've launched with them."

A source also said that the pair were "lazy" compared to the Obamas, who also had a Spotify contract. After signing the deal in 2020, Meghan only delivered just 13 hours of programming in two and half years.

"Although 'Archetypes' did well and got a couple of awards, when you go into a deal like this, to have just one series over that course of time is not great," the source said. "To put that into context, the Obamas and their production company, Higher Ground, delivered multiple new series."

In other news related to Meghan, it appeared that Queen Camilla shaded Meghan after a spokesperson for Meghan debunked reports regarding a potential deal between the Duchess and Dior. During an out and about in Berkshire, England with King Charles for the opening of the Royal Ascot on Tuesday, June 20, the Queen was seen wearing a design from the famed French house.

Camilla looked regal in a resplendent white coat which was a custom Dior design. Meanwhile, the King was suited and booted in a top hot.

It's unclear if Camilla's wardrobe choice was intentional but the timing does raise people's eyebrows. TMZ also notes that the Queen "isn't known as a regular Dior consumer."

Meghan was previously reported to be on the verge of signing a massive deal with the famed French couture house. "There have been rumors for weeks that she's about to sign a deal with Dior which has put the gossip mill into overdrive. If she pulls that off, then no one will remember that her silly little podcast got canceled after one season," Caroline Graham of the Daily Mail claimed. Her rep, however, said that the claims were untrue, adding that the house's team was "nonplussed as to how the story came about."
