AceShowbiz - Tom Cruise had a warm reunion with his rumored ex-girlfriend Hayley Atwell at a "Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part One" event in Rome. The pair were caught sharing a hug when they attended a cocktail party ahead of the world premiere of their movie.
Both Tom and Hayley stepped out for the party held at the hotel De Russie on Sunday, June 18. In one of the images obtained by Daily Mail, the two looked excited to meet each other as they shared a passionate embrace.
At one point, the "Marvel's Agent Carter" alum placed her hand on Tom's shoulder as they had a conversation. The two appeared in good spirits as they also mingled with other guests at the bash.
For the event, Tom wore a tight-fitting blue polo shirt that highlighted his buff body and a smart pair of navy trousers. He accessorized with a watch.
Meanwhile, Hayley opted for sparkling lilac trousers and a silky baby blouse, which she teamed with chic white sandals. She kept her phone in her pants' pocket while holding a glass of drink.
The London-born beauty seemingly had a minor wardrobe malfunction as she received assistance from a pal, who fixed the issue. It didn't dampen the 41-year-old's spirits though, as she continued to happily chat with other friends at the soiree.
Vanessa Kirby, who also stars in the new "Mission: Impossible" movie, was among the celebrity guests at the event. The actress looked stylish in a strapless white crop top boasting a sweetheart neckline. She paired the abs-baring top with a high-waisted pair of white paper bag trousers.
"The Crown" star wore a pair of white high heels when exiting the venue, but she apparently also brought a spare as she was seen holding a pair of cream-colored stilettos as she left the event.
The three, joined by Rebecca Ferguson (II), Pom Klementieff and Mariela Garriga, later gathered on Monday at the world premiere of the movie. They all looked fabulous as they posed together on the iconic Spanish Steps.
"Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part One", the seventh installment in the action film franchise, opens in U.S. theaters on July 12.
