AceShowbiz - Michael J. Fox gave attendees at a fan convention a scare. In a video circulating online, the 61-year-old actor could be seen taking a tumble while onstage during a panel for "Back to the Future" at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia on Sunday, June 4.

Michael, who was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease at the age of 29, tripped when he was walking onto the stage. Thankfully, the Emmy-winning actor landed on a couch and was okay enough to proceed with the Q&A panel alongside his co-stars Christopher Lloyd and Tom Wilson.

Prior to the shocking tumble, Michael opened up about his battle with Parkinson's during his appearance on CBS' "Sunday Morning". "Every day, it's tougher," the 61-year-old said in late April. "But that's the way it is."

The "Family Ties" star admitted to "thinking about the mortality of it" at the time, saying, "I'm not gonna be 80." He noted that falling is "a big killer with Parkinson's," as well as "aspirating food and getting pneumonia" and other "subtle ways that get you." Michael continued, "You don't die from Parkinson's. You die with Parkinson's."

Michael also gave more insight into the disease in Apple TV+'s "Still: A Michael J. Fox Movie". In the documentary, the Golden Globe winner compared Parkinson's to waking up with nine noses "and your tongue sticking out of your ear," adding that it "didn't just kick [him] out of the house - it burned the f**king house down."

The documentary also focused on his close bond with his family members, including wife Tracy Pollan, son Sam, 34, twins Aquinnah and Schulyer, 28, and daughter Esme, 21.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Michael gushed over Tracy, whom he's been married to since 1988. He believed that he would be "dead" without his partner. "We give each other space to make mistakes. Always remember that," he said of the secrets to their long-lasting relationship.
