According to former New York Daily News columnist A.J. Benza, the 'Django Unchained' actor had a blood clot in his brain after he got the shot that led to his hospitalization in April.

AceShowbiz - More details surrounding Jamie Foxx's health issue have made their way out online. Coming from a veteran Hollywood journalist, the new report claims that the actor has been left "partially paralyzed and blind" after he was "pressured" to get COVID-19 vaccine.

Speaking on Dr. Drew Pinsky's online show "Ask Dr. Drew", A.J. Benza insisted his insider was "someone in the room" with first-hand knowledge of Jamie's hospitalization. He said, "Jamie had a blood clot in his brain after he got the shot. He did not want the shot, but the movie he was on, he was pressured to get it."

A.J., who formerly worked as a columnist for the New York Daily News and as a host of the E! series "Mysteries and Scandals", added, "The blood clot in the brain caused him at that point to be partially paralyzed and blind." The journalist did not name the movie that allegedly required the actor to get the COVID shot, but he was in Atlanta to film "Back in Action" when he suffered a "medical complication" back in April.

A.J. went on linking the COVID vaccine mandate to Jamie's reported outburst on the set of the upcoming movie. "I am thinking, 'Is that why he blew up on the set a week before this medical emergency happened?' " the veteran journalist asked Dr. Drew. "Is that why he fired three or four people because he had had it with these mandates?"

In May, Jamie's daughter Corinne Foxx shut down reports that his family was preparing for "the worst." In an Instagram Story, she wrote, "Sad to see how the media runs wild. My Dad has been out of the hospital for weeks, recuperating."

She added, "In fact, he was playing pickleball yesterday! Thanks for everyone's prayers and support! We have an exciting work announcement coming next week too!"

Jamie has been recovering in a top physical rehab center in Chicago since he was released from the hospital. A source told TMZ that the Oscar winner arrived at the facility in late April, after initially getting treatment in an Atlanta hospital, and he's "recovering well."
