AceShowbiz - Robert De Niro and his girlfriend Tiffany Chen made a public appearance after they welcomed their first child together. The 79-year-old actor and Tiffanys showed up at the Cannes Film Festival party on Saturday night, May 20 at Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc.
At the bash, which was hosted by Vanity Fair x Prada, the "Killers of the Flower Moon" actor appeared to be in high spirits. Alongside Tiffany, the father of seven reportedly strolled in for some late-night festivities in France.
Prior to attending the party, Robert premiered his new flick, which was directed by Martin Scorsese, at the prestigious film festival. He allegedly earned an enormous roar of applause and a nine-minute standing ovation for the new movie, which also stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Jesse Plemons and breakout star Lily Gladstone.
Robert first revealed that he just welcomed a seventh child during an interview with ET Canada. "I know you have six kids...," reporter Brittnee Blair said, to which Robert replied, "Seven, actually. I just had a baby."
His "About My Father" co-star Kim Cattrall later gushed about his girlfriend Tiffany at the premiere of their new movie. "God bless him, his significant other. Tiffany is such a beautiful woman. She came to the set once with her family and watched filming, and she was gorgeous and sweet. I'm happy for both of them," she told Extra.
On Wednesday, May 10, Tiffany was seen for the first time with her newborn daughter. The martial arts trainer was photographed cradling the baby during a walk in New York City with a male friend. The next day, Robert and Tiffany unveiled the first official look at Robert and his girlfriend Tiffany Chen's first child together, a baby girl named Gia Virginia Chen-De Niro. She was born on April 6 and weighing 8 lbs., 6 oz. at the time of birth.
In addition to Gia, Robert shares adoptive daughter Drena, 51, Raphael, 46, and 27-year-old twins Julian and Aaron with ex-wife Diahnne Abbott. He also has Elliot, 24, and 11-year-old Helen Grace with second wife Grace Hightower.
