AceShowbiz - Gisele Bundchen and Shakira have apparently developed a new friendship. The model and the "Hips Don't Lie" singer were photographed enjoying a girls' night out with their kids in Miami Beach on Tuesday, May 16.
In some photos obtained by Page Six, the Colombian pop star was joined by her sons Milan (10) and Sasha (8) whom she shares with ex Gerard Pique. Meanwhile, the Brazilian supermodel brought her and ex Tom Brady's son Benjamin (13) and daughter Vivian (10).
They were seen exiting Japanese restaurant Makoto, where they all had dinner together. For the outing, Shakira donned a navy blue shift dress beneath an open plaid shirt and white sneakers. As for Gisele, she opted to wear a loose-fitting white button-down that she paired with cropped jeans and flats. Both of them sported minimal makeup for the casual outing.
The two beautiful and successful Latin women share a common thing regarding their love lives as the two are still navigating very public breakups. Additionally, their children are also children close in age.
Fans were thrilled to see them linked up. "Omg queenssss," one fan raved. Someone else added, "queens supporting queens."
Shakira announced her split from Gerard in June 2022 after dating for 11 years due to his infidelity with his current girlfriend, Clara Chia Marti. "It's hard to talk about it, especially because I'm still going through it and because I'm in the public eye and because our separation is not like a regular separation," the Grammy winner recently told Elle. "And so it's been tough, not only for me, but also for my kids. Incredibly difficult."
Following their split, Shakira was linked to Tom Cruise and Lewis Hamilton. The two showed off great chemistry as they were snapped having an interesting conversation at the Miami Grand Prix on May 7.
"He is extremely interested in pursuing her. There is chemistry. Shakira needs a soft pillow to fall on, and that could be Tom," a source previously said to Page Six. The source added that Tom is "a nice-looking guy and he is talented. And she isn't taller than him."
However, sources told TMZ that the singer and the "Top Gun: Maverick" star are not dating and they are never heading that way. As for why she was seen spending time with Tom at the Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix, the sources revealed that it was because the two share a famous mutual friend, who is none other than Lewis, with whom she was recently seen enjoying a boat ride.
The news outlet reveals that both Shakira and Tom were invited to the event by the Team Mercedes driver and it explained why they were together several times during the race.
The sources also mentioned the report that the "Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part One" actor sent flowers to the Columbian star, noting that it's unknown if the claims are true. The insiders, however, insist that the mom of two "is just not interested in dating right now."
