The 'Jenny From the Block' songstress and the 'Air' star/director are caught having an intense conversation when attending the premiere of her new movie 'The Mother' before making up.

AceShowbiz - The honeymoon is probably over for Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck. Almost a year after they tied the knot on July 16, 2022 in Las Vegas, the pair were caught having an awkward, intense exchange on the red carpet.

The singer/actress and her actor husband stepped out on Wednesday night, May 10 in Los Angeles to attend the premiere of her new movie "The Mother". While walking the red carpet, they were seen having an icy exchange which was captured on camera.

At one point, the "Air" director/star had a frown on his face and even held up his pointer finger at his wife. They, however, soon went from serious mode to lovey-dovey mode, kissing and sharing an embrace while posing for shutterbugs. She also was giggling as he whispered something in her ear.

According to a lip reader, while Jen and Ben appeared frustrated during their icy exchange, they were actually speaking about where and how they should pose for photographers. An expert lipreader told FEMAIL that during the interchange, the "On the Floor" hitmaker appears to ask her husband whether her low cut top was "showing too much," prompting him to respond that it was fine.

The couple later seemed to speak with the crowd of photographers, trying to ascertain where they should stand. Throughout a clip of the interchange, they seemed to mainly interact in a friendly manner.

Just a few days before, Ben was caught slamming the car door during a coffee run with Jen. The pair stepped out to grab their coffee on Monday morning in L.A. when he opened the door of his Mercedes for his wife, who held a small hot beverage.

Once the 53-year-old singer/actress slipped into the passenger seat, the 50-year-old actor shut the door firmly, even adding a hand gesture to emphasize closing it, seemingly looking unhappy.

Fans soon speculated that it was mainly because "The Batman" star was "stressed," while some others commented that he looked "miserable." One Twitter user reacted, "He always looks like he's fed up and annoyed." Another tweeted, "You can 'have it all' and still be miserable."

Prior to slamming the door, however, the pair seemed to be in good mood as they were smiling and holding hands. The Oscar-winning writer grinned ear to ear as he toted his large iced coffee while Jen smiled and chatted with him.
