The 'Panda' hitmaker, who checked himself to a facility for exposing himself on an international flight, declares that he has asked his team to drop a new song on Friday as a birthday gift to his fans.

AceShowbiz - Desiigner might be going through a "tough time" now, but he still has a special thing to offer to his fans. The "Timmy Turner" spitter announced that he will release a new song soon to celebrate his birthday.
"I turned 26 today and i want to thank ya'll for holding me down. I admitted myself into a facility last week to focus on my mental health. But before that i had planned to release TIIMMY TURNER 2 this week as a surprise to my fans," the MC declared on Instagram on Wednesday, May 3. "I recorded this joint a while ago and it reflects on where i've been mentally over the past year."
Desiigner said he has asked his team to drop the song on Friday as a birthday gift to his fans. "Sorry i can't promote it the way i like to cause i'm off the grid," he stated. "But i just want to give you some new music while i take time away to become a better me."
The "Panda" hitmaker went on to note, "I'm going through a tough time right now but i won't let my struggles define who i am." He then promised his fans that he "will come back stronger and make more music that connects with all of you on a deeper level."
Desiigner made media headlines recently for exposing himself on an airplane. According to sources with direct knowledge, he was on a flight back to the United States after a trip with stops in Thailand and Tokyo when he exposed himself and was subsequently scolded by a flight attendant. Upon landing in Minneapolis on April 17, he was met by cops and questioned, but eventually released.
As for what led to the incident, TMZ reports that Desiigner got ill while he was on his trip and was prescribed meds, which likely caused some sort of chemical imbalance. The "Panda" hitmaker has since admitted that he's not okay and vowed to seek help.
"For the past few months i have not been ok, and i have been struggling to come to terms with what is going on," he said in a statement issued via his Instagram Story on Thursday. "While overseas for a concert i performed at, i had to be admitted in to a hospital, i was not thinking clearly."
