Reflecting on her success at London 2012, she told "Game Changers", "It was really the most amazing experience in the world. To have it on my home turf was incredible. It was unbelievable to be with those amazing athletes and to be part of it all. It was actually just the realisation that 'I've got an Olympic medal', it was incredible."

Zara also credited her royal upbringing for her passion for horses. She said, "I'm very grateful to them for putting that passion and love for horses into me, I wouldn't have been doing it otherwise. It was an easy thing to fall in love with."
